Our teaching staff are experienced in assisting students with advice relating to their progress, future study plans and any issues they may encounter during their time in Australia. UIL ensures access to professional counselors to assist students with any areas of concern. UIL coordinates an orientation program for each student entering a partner school, which may involve visiting the school and attending classes, staying at the boarding house, joining activities with Australian students and meeting with the school counselor for subject selections. Visits to universities and colleges are organised for students to meet with staff to discuss subject selection and participate in orientation programs.

We arrange for a representative to meet students at the domestic or international airport in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast. The representative accompanies the student to their accommodation or the UIL campus.
- High school students living in a boarding house of a UIL partner school may be met at the airport by that school’s representative.
- If students are over 18 and wishing to travel independently to their accommodation, UIL will advise them of the most convenient form of transport.
